SX1 achieves a superior resistance to abrasion with its unique ULT-PE material, while still retaining the suppleness and thin diameter that makes for a smooth casting PE line. While other braided lines rely on resin coatings to enhance slickness and durability, Sunline has engineered the ULT-PE material to have a sleek finish that reduces guide friction and improves casting distance without the use of a resin coating. This means there is no coating to wear off and allow the quality of the line to degrade over time. The uncoated raw fiber of SX1 has zero stretch for extreme sensitivity and will withstand the test of time while achieving tight knots that won’t slip. SX1 has a neutral buoyancy that allows for optimum bait performance.
